കൃഷ്ണൻ കർത്താ സാർ ഏറണാകുളം തിയോസോഫിക്കൽ സൊസൈറ്റി ഹാളിൽ നടന്ന " distancing games of Guru " എന്ന വിഷയത്തിലെ ചർച്ചയുടെ ശബ്ദരേഖയിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞത് ശ്രദ്ധേയം ആണ് : " അഗ്നിപരീക്ഷ എന്നൊന്നില്ല. ഗുരുവിന്റെ പരീക്ഷണങ്ങളെ സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുന്നവന് അവയൊന്നും അഗ്നിപരീക്ഷകളായിത്തോന്നില്ല ." . വീണ്ടും ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഇങ്ങനെ മറുപടി കിട്ടി: " നന്നായി പഠിക്കുന്ന ഒരു കുട്ടി സ്കൂളിലെ പരീക്ഷകളെയെന്ന പോലെ അവയെ നിസ്സാരമായി സ്വീകരിക്കും .അഹംബോധത്തിൽ തന്റെ സുരക്ഷയെയും സമാധാനത്തെയും മാത്രം കാംക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ശിഷ്യന് ,അല്ല വ്യക്തിക്ക് , ഇതൊക്കെ അഗ്നിപരീക്ഷകൾ ആണ് . അവനെ ഈ പരീക്ഷകൾ ഭയപെടുത്തുന്നു . അവന്റെ നിലനില്പ്പിനെ തന്നെ ബാധിക്കുമോ എന്ന ആശങ്ക ഈ പരീക്ഷകളെ അഗ്നിപരീക്ഷകളായി magnify ചെയ്യുന്നു അതെക്കുറിച്ച് പിന്നെ എപ്പോഴെങ്കിലും അവൻ പറയുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അവനിലെ അഹംബോധം അടങ്ങിയിട്ടില്ല എന്ന് മനസിലാക്കാം .പക്ഷെ ഈ പരീക്ഷകൾക്ക് പ്രകൃതി തീര്ച്ചയായും സമ്മാനങ്ങൾ നൽകും . അവന്റെ പിന്നീടുള്ള ജീവിതങ്ങളിലെ അല്ലലില്ലായ്മയോ സുഖഭോഗങ്ങളൊ സൌകര്യങ്ങളോ ശിഷ്യസമ്പത്തോ ഒക്കെ ആകാം ഈ സമ്മാനങ്ങൾ . "അഗ്നിപരീക്ഷ" ആയി ഗുരുവിന്റെ പാരസ്പര്യത്തെ കണ്ട വ്യക്തി അതിലൊക്കെ പരിലസിക്കുകയും ബന്ധിതൻ ആവുകയും ചെയ്യും.അവനെ ആ മഹാഗുരുവിന്റെ ശിഷ്യൻ ആയി ജനം വിളിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തേക്കാം . എന്നാൽ യഥാർത്ഥ ശിഷ്യൻ ഇതിൽനിന്നൊക്കെ വിമുഖനായി സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞുകൂടും. അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു ചുറ്റും പ്രകൃതി ഇതെല്ലാം ഒരുക്കും .പക്ഷെ അദ്ദേഹം പ്രകൃതിജയം നേടിയവനാണ് . അതിനാൽ നടക്കുന്നത് പ്രകൃതിയുമായുള്ള ഒരു ഒളിച്ചുകളി ( hide and seek game ) മാത്രമാകും

" In the soundtrack recorded from the discussion with Sri Krishnan Kartha at Theosophical Society hall on “distancing games of Guru” he says that “ Agnipareeksha or the fire tests are regarded as such by followers with ego who consider their safety and security and lacks surrender to the Guru.” On further interrogation Kartha Sir explained as follows: “ For a real aspirant there is no such tests. Like a studious student appearing his exams with enthusiasm he welcomes all games played by the guru as generative. The person without surrender goes through the tests with bitterness and despair and call them “agnipareekshas” .The nature however bestows rewards or compensations for him in the way of luxuries , disciples, comforts and what not. He will relish in all such bounties and thus get bound again. The surrendered aspirant is also endowed with the same handsel by the nature. But he will be indisposed to all these and the outcome will be a hide and seek game between him and the nature

Sethumadhavan Kombath Unni ഗുരുവിെൻ പരീക്ഷണങൾ ഭാവനകൾക്കുമപ്പുറമാണ്. വൃക്തിയിലെ ഞാനിനെയാണ് ഗുരു നശിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുക. ഞാൻ നഷ്ടപ്പെടുംപോഴുണ്ടായേക്കാവുന്ന സംഭവവികാസങൾ വാക്കുകൾക്കും അപ്പുറമാണ്.മരണതുല്ലൃമായ അനുഭവങൾ നേരിൽ ണ്ടേക്കാമെന്നുപോലും കേൾക്കുന്നു. ഗുരുവിന്നു മാത്രമേ അതിൽ നിന്നും കരകയറ്റാൻ കഴിയു....ത്രേ.
