Photograph by Krishnan KarthaBaiju NT :Who is the brave guy who took these pics?
Madhuvanskool : KK sir, Baiju NT
Baiju NT :Then, all of them who were in that vehicle were truly brave.
Alby Xavier : Baiju NT , KK sir is fearless.!
Krishnan Kartha: Baiju NT , Russell divides fear into rational fear and irrational fear.People with courage in such situations may lack courage to face the life as it snowballs. They may escape by suicide. Some people fear such encounters , but they face the life as a challenge and meet it. Upanishads say the fear is solely related to death. It says that the baby cries for milk, due to fear of death! So fear is natural for every human being. One should be fearful.
Baiju NT : I agree fear is natural and since it is in our very instinct, all men tend to fear at least as a mental reflex. But my question is: Do we need to conquer fear? Why is it always said that only brave can attain the higher levels of spirituality?
Krishnan Kartha: Dear Baiju NT , Attaining is a dream.(higher levels of spirituality, as you said) Instead you are already there.
The feeling of bondage is the dream in fact. So there are no pre requisites. A natural man can easily understand his own self. The more conditioned he is ,the more complicated the journey would be.
The truth is like this: When you are in such a state , you are fearless. You condescend to fear when you relate yourself to surroundings. That is why I said that fear is "natural".... Only when you are in the limits of 'nature'. The ' living' takes place in the framework of nature. Hence fear is imperative, as the sustenance and maintenance are of paramount importance...
And the "LIFE" includes nature in it and then... you are beyond fear. In "LIVING" you are'doing' and in LIFE , you are the "Being' !!!
