Sringara : a misunderstood word

Krishnan Kartha posted in his timeline on February  21, 2015

"Sringara" is a misunderstood word. The word 'Sringa' means peak and hence Sringara is associated with the peak of bliss. It is divided into two, samyoga and vipralambha. Samyoga denotes union and vipralambha, separation. The separation is the cause for agony. But this agonising factor is also identified as a fragment of the peak ... why? .. It is because the separation is not real but illusory! . The ego prompts the separation and hence agony. Thus Love contains no pain. If there is pain , there is ego and not love. So the cause of agony is illusion, ignorance. That is why my Master said "the distance between you and me is the distance between you and yourself"- Krishnan Kartha
