Mind is an association from the beginning of the journey, over lives and lives. Hence an establishment. It will surpress one's rebellion against it in the form of meditation or surrender , since if allowed, these efforts kill the mind. One can tactfully tame it and walk besides like a friend. Then the mind becomes a "friend in need who is afriend indeed". My Master says " master your mind and become a Mastermind!- Krishnan Kartha

Sai Ramana ..... NICE PHOTO .....Elephant is a good symbolic sign for mind ....Jai sai ram
Peeyush Kriss Well said.
Nalinakshan Gopalapanikar Yes correct !
Ravindranath Kartha Clouds come into being because of the wind and vanish because of the wind. Mind is responsible for bondage as well as liberation........

Sukanya Patwardhan A great passage ( the teaching) about a great passage (the journey, of life as well as of the elephant !)
Nanditha Saren Mr Sai Ramana pls translate.
Haripriya Nyt Translating Sai Ramana's post for Nanditha Suren ,Sukanya Patvardhan and others: "Look at the picture, .. the Mind is seen with big horns.. An ochre robed man walks besides it and controls it .. he keeps a distance and treads with freedom" I think this is okay, Sai Ramana.
Jyothindrakumar Parameswaran Nair A beautiful message & a meaningful visual.
Sanjay Thampi Sir, to tame the mind, he/she must be watchful of his thoughts which is nothing but meditation or contemplation. Is taming mind possible without watching thoughts...??? If yes, then how is it different from Contemplation and Meditation...?? Is it inferior to contemplation...???? Is it significantly different from meditation....???????
Krishnan Kartha Dear Sanjay , Watching mind is admittedly the first step. Watching mind means watching thoughts. A thief enters your house and you are awakened by some noise. You get up and start to search him. Will he come out? he will hide himself without being see...See More

Sabari Nadh Some Persons are unable to contemplate or meditate, hence becomes static. Such stature would, in time, create an eventuality i.e. playing the game afresh upon a clean slate. Sometimes it may not be a clean slate; perhaps plunge to lower planes. But whilst such a stature is in continuance (i) Does the mind which is independently aware, keep directional silence? (ii) Is the person stronger than mind to be dominant??
Krishnan Kartha Sabari Nadh i didnt understand anything.
Sabari Nadh I will try to express again!!!
Does one's mind remains silent, even if it finds out that, the path to the real destiny or its progress is getting sidetracked for the reason of worldly pleasures?
If it keeps silent then; Is one's mind less powerful, being unable to overcome one's own worldly desires?
Venu Gopal So true. "Master your mind and become a Mastermind"....WOW!!!!
